Welcome to the Matson Alarm Blog! We are excited to start this new endeavor and hope to provide our readers with extremely useful information regarding all aspects of home and business security. Our goal with this blog is two-fold:
First, we know that many people are seeking information on security and alarm systems and we would like to be your number one resource. Second, we want to help our current customers get the most use out of their alarm systems by giving them useful tips and advice.

How-To Posts: For the how-to posts, our goal is to show you how to get the most use out of your security system. We want to show you how to use automation features, add codes and anything else you might want to know.
Troubleshooting: We want to help you help yourself! We know some of you want to take things into your own hands and try to fix the little hiccups that come up. We are going to give you the basics of troubleshooting so that you can understand if this is a problem you can fix yourself, such as changing a battery or cleaning a sensor, or if it is something that needs a specialized technician and a phone call to Matson Alarm.
Industry News: Maybe there is something in the industry that is really exciting or we think warrants extra attention. We’ll share it with you here!
Interesting Features: Doorbell Cams, Geofencing, Arming Reminders—these are the cool things that turn your security system into a home or business automation system.
